This Weeks News – Announcements for week of 2/16

Sunday (2/16)
  • 9:30 am Morning Worship
    • Preaching of God’s Word — Pastor John Irwin

  • 10:30 am – Fellowship — all are welcome; enjoy our coffee, tea and pastries!
  • 11:00 am – Sunday School – adult class is studying the Trinity.
  • 6:00 pm – Evening Service (James) Pastor John continues his series on the author and the New Testament book of James.
Additional announcements:
  • Women’s Bible Study – Meeting on Wednesdays @ FPC, 9:45 am. Course of Study is “The Promised One” by Nancy Guthrie. The focus is on the book of Genesis, and seeing Jesus there. Books provided by FPC. For more information, see Wanda Benton or call the office.
  • Winter Bible Conference with Dr. Derek Thomas – will be held at Tabor City Baptist Church on Saturday, February 22 from 9:30 – 5:00. Go to https://tcbaptist.net/ for more information.
  • OM Ships – FPC volunteers are helping OM at their Florence Distribution Center this week. To learn about ways you might get involved, see the Nelsons.
  • Philippine Medical Missions Trip: Roy and Grace Lim are in the Philippines on a medical mission. The region where there are ministering recently experienced a volcanic eruption, which has displaced some residents and dumped volcanic ash on a widespread area. Please keep the residents and the Lim’s and their team in your prayers.
  • Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach – February is once again the month when FPC collects non-perishable food items for the Helping Hand pantry. Bags have been provided and can be picked up on the table outside the sanctuary. A list of approved donations is provided on each bag.
  • Sergey & Lyuda from Ukraine–  will be sharing what God is doing in their part of the world on Sunday, March 1, during am worship, Sunday School and pm worship. A Gideon bible distribution report will also be given on March 1 during am worship.
