Do you believe “making a joyful noise before the Lord,” as in Psalm 98, is an important part of corporate worship? Do you enjoy lifting up your voice to the Lord during worship service?
If so, our April 6 Singing School
featuring the Covenant College Chamber Singers
is for you!
Faith PCA Myrtle Beach, under the rule of Scripture, recognizes that humans are created to be worshipers of the Living God, and growth in excellence of musical worship is one way to “glorify God and enjoy Him forever”. We also recognize that the beauty of multi-part, harmonized singing is often out of reach in today’s modern cultural settings, so we offer a new opportunity to help God’s people learn how to sing in harmony, perhaps for the first time in their lives.
To that end, we are delighted to host the Covenant College Chamber Singers Saturday, April 6th, 2019 as they lead a Singing School for congregants and community members alike.
This ensemble specializes in unaccompanied choral literature from various periods of church history with stylistic variety and compelling nuance. The director, Dr. Finch, will be coaching our singers together and also be providing an address on Why God’s Children Sing.
Please fill out the registration form below, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call and leave a message at (843) 449-7972. We earnestly hope to see you there!
