The Providence of God
How can a good God allow all the evil in the world?
Those of the world often say one of three things:
- If God is willing to prevent evil but not able, then He is impotent;
- If God is able to prevent evil but not willing, then He is malevolent;
- If God is both willing and able to prevent evil but does not, then He is evil.
The last option is often the alleged trump card for those who deny God. That is, even if God is all-powerful, He is not all-good.
But the 50th chapter of Genesis, the death of Joseph, shatters this claim. Listen as Pastor Ted explains how the answer — and the truth — lies with God’s astounding triumph over evil.
