This Week’s News – Announcements for the Week of August 23, 2020

  • This Sunday: We will be worshiping together at 9:30 am and 6:00 pm. Pastor John will continue his series on the book of Isaiah during the morning service and the book of James in the evening. This week’s morning message will be from Isaiah 28:14-29. You can also stream us live: https://www.facebook.com/FaithMyrtleBeach/. In addition, sermonaudio.com has recordings of the audio from morning and evening sermons, along with video of the morning message. You can use the links on the homepage of this site to connect to sermonaudio, Facebook and our YouTube channel.
  • Adult Sunday School on the book of Deuteronomy will be held in the sanctuary 15 minutes after the conclusion of worship. Children’s Sunday School series on “Pilgrim’s Progress” will continue in the large classroom at the end of the hallway on the right. Adult series will be made available on our YouTube channel later in the week.
  • The Community Garden will meet every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 8:00 am. All those with an interest in gardening are welcome to come and grow with us. Contact Sybil Lee at leewardatmyr@gmail.com.

  • An Evening With Mozart – Classical Quintet concert featuring our own Jim Heffernan on clarinet along with members of the Long Bay Symphony! Friday, September 25 @ 7:00 pm.
  • Women’s Prayer Partners – If anyone is interested in participating in the ladies’ prayer partner program, or would like more information, please notify Sara Wise or Wanda Benton. We will begin a new round of partners September 1st.
  • Women’s Bible Study – will resume their study of Nancy Guthrie’s book “The Promised One” here at the chuch on Wednesday, September 2 @ 10:00 am. A new study will begin on October 3rd. Details to follow. All ladies are welcome.
  • Women’s Wreath Making Fellowship – September 26 from 12-3:30pm at Faye Graham’s House. The church will provide the wreaths to decorate and the women are encouraged to bring craft supplies. We will be having a time of devotion and lunch will be provided. See Margaret Ann Duncan with questions.
  • Weekly Prayer – We would like to restart weekly prayer in September and welcome your suggestions as to scheduling. Contact Pastor John if you are interested in providing input concerning reinstituting this vital ministry.
